Biography[]
Harley Fresh (formerly known as Harley Campbell) began playing Fortnite: Battle Royale early on in the games lifecycle, taking part regularly in competitive scrimmages. In the OCE regions first organised tournament, his squad won. Partnered up with x2twins Jesse, x2twins Jordan and Hershicals, the “Twinsanity” squad dominated the OCE region and were signed by Detroit-based OCE oriented organisation the Renegades.
After the first and only season of CPL, mrfreshasian decided to leave competitive Fortnite in order to pursue content creation. At first he played with popular OCE content creators like MrMuselk, LazarBeam and Lachlan on his Twitch stream and participated in many of their videos, increasing his popularity. He then left home, living in multiple places including the Click House 1.0 and MrMuselks apartment until he finally was able to afford the rent of an apartment of his own. During this time he updated his stream quality from 540p to 1080p60, giving him the ability to start properly making YouTube videos. Once he started uploading he was one of the fastest growing channels in the world with his content often fetching around 2 million views.
Towards the beginning of the Fortnite World Cup 2019, mrfreshasian announced his duo partner as Lachlan in order to have fun rather than properly compete. Their performances were very inconsistent however they did place as high as #7. In week 9, Lachlan was unavailable so mrfreshasian teamed up with professional Fortnite player Rel, effectively restarting his competitive career. They performed well in scrims however did not translate well to the world cup. Mrfreshasian did not qualify for the world cup, however did compete in the charity Pro-Am with Desmond Chiam.
With the announcement of trios as the premier game mode of Season X, Rel and mrfreshasian began their search for a third, testing out Gheez during a cash cup but eventually deciding on Jynx. They placed consistently in the top 5, taking a split drop of the meteor and Dusty Depot. This trio was never able to win a weekly trio tournament however did place 3rd in the FNCS Trios Finals winning over $18,000USD combined.
For FNCS Season 2: Chapter 1 Squads, mrfreshasian, Rel and Jynx teamed up with Link after previously testing and announcing RepulseGod as their fourth. They won the warmup tournament leading up to the FNCS season, cementing them as a top 3 team. This squad performed much higher than the trio, winning the Week 4 tournament and placing 2nd in the FNCS Trios Finals.
After the conclusion of Trios, mrfreshasian announced he was keeping Rel as his duo partner in the lead up to the 3 day platform duos Winter Royale tournament. Fresh has recently started a second channel called Harley fresh and has been featured on The Default Duo on YouTube. Currently fresh was voted number one Duo in the OCE region with Squeakz and has recently partnered with Caryion for trios.
